Directions to the NJ EXCEL Northern Site

Effective July 1,2011, the Northern Cohort site will be located at the Parsippany Troy Hills Board of Education Offices, 292 Parsippany Road, Parsippany, NJ 07054.

From the East
  • Route 80 West
  • Stay right when Route 80 West divides just past Exit 47.
  • Follow signs for Exit 43B (which will say Route 287).
  • Keep right as if you were going to Smith Road, but at the stop sign at the end of the ramp turn left.
  • Turn left at the first light, Parsippany Road (the overhead sign says Parsippany Boulevard).
  • Go through two lights and continue past the shopping center.
  • The Board of Education Building is on your left, across from Wok’s Chinese Kitchen. (If you get to the Route 287 interchange, you’ve gone too far)
Alternate
  • Route 80 West to Route 46 West (Exit 47)
  • Take Route 46 West three miles to Parsippany Road, (the municipal building will be on the right, Wendy’s on the left).
  • Use the jug handle just beyond the light to head south on Parsippany Road/Boulevard.
  • Go one mile (through 4 traffic lights).
  • The Board of Education Building will be on your left, across the street from Wok’s Chinese Kitchen.
From West
  • Route 80 East to Route 287 South.
  • Take Route 287 South approximately 1/2 mile to exit 40A (Parsippany Road), Bear right onto Parsippany Road and go a little less than 1/2 mile.
  • The Board of Education Building will be on your right, across the street from Wok’s Chinese Kitchen.
Alternate
  • Route 46 East to Parsippany Road.
  • Make a right onto Parsippany Road.
  • Go one mile through four traffic lights.
  • The Board of Education Building will be on left, across from Woks Chinese Kitchen.
From the South
  • Route 287 North to Exit 40 (Parsippany Road).
  • Make a left at the light at the end of the ramp.
  • Go 1/2 mile. The Board of Education Building will be on your right (across the street from Wok’s Chinese Kitchen).
From the North
  • Take Route 287 South to the Parsippany Road exit.
  • Bear right onto Parsippany Road and go a little less than 1/2 mile.
  • The Board of Education Building will be on the right, across the street from Wok’s Chinese Kitchen.
Directions to the NJ EXCEL Central Site

NJ EXCEL’s central office and training facility is located at the New Jersey Principals & Supervisors Association, 12 Centre Drive, Monroe Township, NJ 08831

Directions from the Trenton Area
  • Route 1 North to 295 South to 195 East to Exit 5B (Rt. 130 North). Continue on 130 North, pass the exit for Cranbury/Jamesburg.
  • Take the next exit for Jamesburg/New Jersey Turnpike/Route 32 East (exit is on the right). Continue straight through three traffic lights.
  • After you travel through the third traffic light (Applegarth Road) make the first right turn onto Centre Drive at Monroe Center.
  • (Forsgate County Club is located directly across the street from Centre Drive). Bear to the left
  • We are the last building on the left.
Directions from New Jersey Turnpike
  • Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 8A. Bear left. Exit the left ramp (Jamesburg, Route 32 East)
  • Continue straight through two traffic lights.
  • Make a right turn onto Centre Drive. (Forsgate County Club is located directly across the street from Centre Drive).
  • Bear to the left
  • We are the last building on the left.
Directions from Freehold/Shore Area
  • Route 9 to Freehold to Route 33 West for approximately 7 to 10 miles to Applegarth Road (Exit on the right)
  • Continue straight on Applegarth Road and make a right at the 3rd traffic light onto Forsgate Drive (Route 32 East)
  • NJPSA on Centre Drive is directly across the street from Forsgate Country Club
  • Make a right turn onto Centre Drive
  • Bear to the left
  • NJPSA is the last building on the left.

 From North Jersey & Central Jersey

 

q  Take the NJ Turnpike South to Exit 4

 

q  Bear right coming out of the tollbooth to Route 73 North.

 

q  Stay on Route 73 North for about ¼ mile.  Then follow signs for Route I-295 South.  This will come up on you quickly, stay alert.

 

q  Follow Route I-295 South for about 10 miles.  The highway will eventually split.  Stay to the right following signs for Route 42 South and Atlantic City.  This exit will twist and turn a few times.  Keep following signs for Atlantic City.  Do not get back on I-295 South.

 

q  Follow Route 42 South for about 3.5 miles.  Take the second Blackwood exit (Blackwood/Clementon).

 

q  Bear right at the bottom of the exit ramp and cross back under the highway.

 

q  At the first traffic light make a right onto Erial Road.

 

q  Highland Regional High School will be immediately on your left.  Pull into the parking lot facing Erial Road.  The main entrance is in the center of the front of the building.  There is a bell on the front door that will gain you access to the building.

 

Approximate time from NJPSA Exit 8A is 1-hour/15-minutes

 

From Southern Jersey

 

q  Take the Atlantic City Expressway North to the end.  It will merge into Route 42 North.

 

q  Follow Route 42 North to Exit 9A (Coles Road).

 

q  At the top of the exit ramp make a left onto Coles Road.

 

q  Follow Coles Road to the first traffic light and make a right (Peter’s Lane)

 

q  Follow Peter’s Lane approximately one mile until it dead ends at a traffic light (Blackwood/Clementon Road)

 

q  Make a left at the traffic light onto Blackwood Clementon Road.

 

q  Make an immediate right into Highland H.S. parking lot.

From North Jersey & Central Jersey

? Take the NJ Turnpike South to Exit 4
